Davidson County Recent Arrests is a private reference service, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody or release, post bond, retrieve an official record, or change a booking entry. Contact the agency that holds the record.

Official Offices and Records

The right contact depends on the record and custody stage. The Davidson County Sheriff's Office handles county jail custody and sheriff records. City police departments hold their own incident reports. The clerk handles official court files, while state and federal agencies maintain separate custody systems.

Davidson County Sheriff's Office
2511 East US Hwy 64
Lexington, NC 27292
Sheriff public contact: 336-242-2105
Non-emergency: 336-249-0131
County directory jail line: 336-242-2126

The sheriff's public-records material states a response within five business days, while the request form language says to allow three to five business days and expect an email. No booking-photo fee or guaranteed release time was found. Describe the person, approximate arrest or booking date, booking number if known, arrest agency, desired record, and preferred format.

Davidson County Courthouse
110 West Center Street
Lexington, NC
Clerk of Superior Court: 336-242-6700
Civil Division hours: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The listed office hours apply to the DCSO Civil Division, not to live jail-booking updates. Court questions, dates, official case copies, and disposition clarification should go to the clerk.

  • For current Davidson County jail status or release, use the active roster and call the jail line when the result is unclear.
  • For a sheriff incident report, county booking record, or booking photo, use the DCSO public-records form and allow the stated response window.
  • For a Thomasville, Lexington, or Denton police report, contact that municipality because the jail record does not replace the arresting agency's report.
  • For charges, court dates, warrant events, or the final disposition, check the NC eCourts Portal and seek official confirmation from the Davidson County clerk.
  • For a person serving a North Carolina sentence or under state supervision, use the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction offender search or records process.
  • For federal custody, use the Federal Bureau of Prisons locator. Immigration detention searches belong with the ICE Online Detainee Locator System.
  • For custody alerts, use North Carolina SAVAN or VINELink. Notification tools do not replace direct confirmation of an urgent status.

A booking is an accusation record, not proof of guilt. Charges can change or be dismissed, and the court disposition is the proper source for the final result. In an emergency, call 911.
